The memorial ribbon shape. There will be 91 stainless steel monoliths (7' X 3' X 6") one for each country that lost a citizen. Each monolith will contain a poem written by a child from that country.

Just north and south of the trees, amidst the grounds, will be two 'Gardens of the Future'. While the Memorials correctly honor the past, these gardens will look towards the future. They will contain poems of hope from children around the world, and will be affiliated with 'A Ray of Hope, UNESCO Youth Ambassador for the Culture of Peace'.

The Path will be oriented at the precise SE direction so that the sun will set directly in line with the center building, The Path, and the Memorial on 9/11
