Welcome to Jeffrey A. Starr's WTC Memorial Proposal

Both myself and Senator Charles E. Schumer (NY) were told in writing by Kevin Rampe, Chief Counsel for the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, that the LMDC would be holding an open international competition in early 2003 for the designs of the WTC Site, with details to be posted on their website www.renewnyc.com

I fully intend to enter my designs into that competition, therefore I am looking for an architectural firm or an Architecture Department to join me in this as follows:

At this point, I need a professional presentation, both two and three dimensional, to enter into the competition. The more professional, obviously the better. Full credit to your department for the models, etc. If we win, all architectural working of my designs will go to your department, with my very general help. It would be a great chance for you and or students to work the front end, and hopefully the final end of this very important and major competition.
